I personally think that the Civic Si coupe looks a lot nicer. Sure, less practical, but come on now :)

There was no Civic coupe there at all. Just the Si, the R, and a Sport Touring hatch. So no real way for me to compare the two Si’s at that moment.

Ah. That makes more sense lol. But whenever you get to seeing them side by side in person, you’ll see what I mean.

Thanks for the great pics. I decided to skip the auto show this year. The Civics are just so weird looking.

They are, yeah. The corner vents are odd, but to me the chrome grille on most of the base Civic sedans and coupes is worse. The hatches and Si’s all come with black grilles, so they’re tolerable, and I think the more subtle (compared with the R) styling cues on the Si make it look a little better than the rest.

I wish this wheel trend would come back.

One of the things I get a kick out of are the MSRPs that are listed for some vehicles that are more like Manufacturer Fantasy Retail Price... What the manufacturer/dealer would like to get, but rarely do.
I was at the Toronto International auto show and I saw a Dodge Grand Caravan with a M F RP of over CAD$40,000... and even though it was a loaded version, I’m very sure the actual transaction price is usually at last $10,000 below that.

The $31,000 on the Mustang was the one that stuck out the most to me.

Mmmm, those McLarens and classic Mustangs...
I can’t get awful over the huuuuuuge fake vents on the civics. Just... Ugh... And the accord is just...off. Like they asked one of gm’s design committees to make them a car but to have it not like anything else specifically, like with Grand Theft Auto.
